Biographical history
Arnold Webster was a teacher and politician. He served as provincial President of the CCF and succeeded Harold Winch as leader of the provincial CCF in 1953. He was elected MLA for Vancouver East and served one term as Leader of the Opposition. He returned to politics in 1962 with the federal NDP and was elected MP for Vancouver Kingsway.
