The tapes were sent by Cariboo Radio (Quesnel) to the Centennial '71 Committee. At some time prior to August 1981, the tapes were transferred to the BC Archives.
Scope and content
The series consists of episodes from the radio program "Characters of Our Century", a series of short recorded vignettes about well-known figures in British Columbia history. The programs were produced by Cariboo Radio of Quesnel, B.C., to mark the 1971 centennial of B.C. joining Confederation.
