History

The British Columbia government established a Supreme Court registry at Revelstoke, by command of the Provincial Secretary’s Office, 28 May 1900, effective 25 June 1900.

The courthouse at Revelstoke was closed on 31 May 2002 and operated as a temporary circuit court of Salmon Arm between June and July 2002. The court closed again but re-opened as a permanent circuit court of Salmon Arm on 5 February 2003.
