SUMMARY: "Saturday Evening" was a series of 1.5 hour programs broadcast from 8:30 to 10:00 PM on Saturday nights. The series ran from October 1962 to the spring of 1967. Usually in two parts, the programs featured plays, classical concerts, documentaries and talks. This episode, "Count Filippo", is a radio adaptation by Peter Haworth of an early Canadian verse-play, "The Unequal Marriage", by pre-Confederation poet Charles Heavysege. It was directed by Norman Newton.;
