These films were donated to the B.C. Provincial Museum in 1971 by Mr. Peter Bently, President of the Canadian Forestry Association in Vancouver. In 1980 they were transferred from the Museum's Modern History Division to the Provincial Archives of B.C.
Scope and content
The collection consists of three 35 mm motion picture prints, including films produced by the Canadian Government Motion Picture Bureau and the Ontario Motion Picture Bureau. The three titles include films about sport fishing in Ontario [and B.C.?], wildlife in the Rocky Mountains, and the activities of an Ontario forest fire ranger.
