Item consists of one photograph of an exhibition display for M.R. Smith & Co. The display features boxes of baked goods stacked into a cone-shaped structure. A framed plaque or certificate partially covers the skirt of the display, which states: "Manufactures of all kin[ds] plain & fancy". The location is thought to be the Willows Fairgrounds, Victoria.

There are at least three bays behind waist-height rails that feature stacks of packaged goods and a glass display case. The bay nearest the viewer appears to be a full-sized diorama of a sitting room or lounge.
