Among other things, Vera Wingen describes: Dr. Dixson's medical techniques, his willingness to help. Marguerite Robertson recounts: first experiences in medical procedures -- ruptured appendix of Norman Allen, gangrenous appendix of Felix Tom; anecdote about Premier Pattullo's visit prior to an election; Brinkman, local watchman; Japanese community, Native community; flying trapeze anecdote.
