Scope and content

The series consists of five different theses about the utilization of fish and other marine animals by Indigenous peoples in British Columbia. The theses examine the different types of fish, their importance to Indigenous culture, how they are caught, and methods of preparation. The theses were created between 1974 and 1976, mostly by Dorothy Kennedy, but also with the assistance of Randy Bouchard. These theses are photocopies of the originals. See file list for further information.
