Where fighting beauties rise

The item is a recreational film. "'Fly-fishing for the famous Kamloops trout at Knouff Lake, British Columbia.' A party of apparently well-known Vancouver fishing enthusiasts arrives by car at a small fishing cabin on the shores of Knouff Lake. They unload their gear. The men leave the dock in two boats to go fishing. The first fish is hooked and, after a fight, netted. The other boat catches a 15-pounder. The men put ashore and fry their fish for lunch. They set off again and another fish is landed and held up for the camera. Another fish, a long fight, and the trout is displayed in a net. The men row ashore with their catch and spill the fish out of their creels onto the lawn. A tableau of 11 Kamloops trout, one creel, and two rods on the lawn. At sunset a fisherman is still out on the water trying to catch the one that got away. (NOTE: No distinguishing landmarks)." (Colin Browne)
