Location of originals
This series originally contained 314 volumes of letterbooks and 22 volumes of registers. The originals of all microfilmed volumes have been destroyed. Volumes 197-223 & 250-269 of the letterbooks were water damaged and often illegible; they were not microfilmed and have been destroyed because of their poor condition. Researchers may find copies of outward letters from this period, 1910-1911, in the Department of Lands correspondence files.
