Scope and content

The item consists of a film reel containing documentary footage filmed in the 1950s. It shows Spatsizi Valley, a trip to photograph caribou at "Matermity Mountain", another photo expedition to a salt lick at Cullivan Creek, pack train hauling supplies to camps, sheep and goats, ptarmigan, ground squirrel, aspen and arctic birch. It also shows fishing at an outlet of Cold Fish Lake, party leaving for plateau, moose cow and calf, caribou and measuring trophy caribou. Beaver, black bear and cubs, stalking and photographing sheep, first snowfall. group leaving for Telegraph Creek with dogs and horses on a two-day trip.
