Ethnographic film. A celebrated short based on an Indian legend, re-enacted by actors wearing Salish carved wooden masks from the collection of the National Museum of Man. The legend is set in the Nicola Valley, but filmed in a surrealistic studio representation of the area. Also released in German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish versions.
