Two volumes of news clipping books, the first from 1941-1943 arranged chronologically; the second, from 1947-1951 arranged alphabetically, mainly by settlement or location, but occasionally by subject. The clippings cover most aspects of mining, including petroleum and coal, such as exploration, operation, demand, labour relations, taxation, war effort and production.

Prospecting and mining photographs

The series consists of photographs documenting the activities of Anton K. Money and R.H. (Bob) Dickinson, including prospecting and mining for gold and silver-lead ore in the Cassiar district in 1924-1925. Images in the series include: mining tunnels, flumes, sluice boxes, and other placer operations, and road development by the Dickinson Mining Company near Telegraph Creek and Dease Lake. The series also includes photographs of First Nations trappers and Hudson's Bay Company poling boats (fur scows). Locations also include the Klondike-era ghost town of Glenora, and other locations in the Cassiar district.
