The collection includes materials relating to the following: Labour Relations Board (British Columbia); Apprenticeship Branch; Workmen's Compensation Board; rental controls; miscellaneous acts administered by the Labour Department, e.g. Annual Holidays Act, Barbers' and Hairdressers' Act, Employment Agencies Act, Employment of Children Act, Factories Act, Hours of Work Act, Minimum Wages - Male and Female, Public Works Fair Wages Act, Semi-Monthly Payment of Wages Act, Shops Regulations and Weekly Holidays Act, Tradesmen's Qualification Act; Trade Schools Branch; Board of Industrial Relations; speeches by minister; and general departmental operations.
