In 1968 he moved to B.C., and in 1969 he joined the Film and Photographic Branch of the Department of Travel Industry. In the years that followed, he directed and photographic numerous films for the Ministy of Tourism – notably “Highways to Splendor” (1970), “Island Eden” (1972), “Mirrors to the Sun” (1974), “Valley of a Thousand Peaks” (1978), “British Columbia: Nature’s Masterpiece” (1980), and “Here to Share” (1981) After leaving government service he did some work for Yaletown Productions.
