Scope and content
The series consists of 38 photographic prints created or acquired by E.O.S. Scholefield around 1914 during a trip to the Cariboo. The photographs were probably taken by Lawrence Arthur Genge who seems to have accompanied him on the trip. Areas identified in the photographs include Lytton, Lillooet, Chasm, Marble Canyon and Pavilion.

Physical condition
The photographs have been mounted on brown construction paper. Unmounted copies appear to have been removed from a paper mount or an album.
Immediate source of acquisition
The photographs were probably donated to the Provincial Archives photograph files by E.O.S. Scholefield around 1914.
Arrangement
The photographs were originally filed in old photo file #6229 Cariboo Road - unidentified. Sometime after 1935, they were given individual HP (historic photo) numbers and added to the general file as HP011139-HP011176.
