Out-takes. The production, special qualities and varied uses of plywood -- in construction, in industry and on the farm. The film's whimsical commentary is provided by a movie cameraman who is seen shooting footage on the subject for a documentary. Filmed in B.C., with scenes in Saskatchewan, Winnipeg and elsewhere in Canada.

General note
As of March 1987, no prints or printing elements were known to exist. A pre-title credit reads "The Douglas Fir Plywood Industry Presents"; the sponsorship of the Plywood Manufacturers Association is credited on the title frame itself. These out-takes comprise about 6,700 feet (F1981:17/035.01-07) and 2,000 feet (F1984:11/086.01-02).
