Biographical history
In 1908, by Order-in-Council # 0567-1908 (dated September 1, 1908), the British Columbia government closed the Registry of the County Court at Port Simpson and established the Registry of the County Court at Prince Rupert, effective September 15, 1908.
All County Courts were merged into the Supreme Court on July 1, 1990.

This series contains plaint and procedure books (some indexed). Volume 5 includes cases heard in Small Debts Court, 1913. The registry was named Port Simpson until August, 1908.
