These interviews were recorded by Walter Young for the CBC radio documentary "The Fires of Progress", broadcast in 1965. [See T1659:0001.] The interview recordings no longer exist, and were probably erased by the CBC shortly after the program was produced. The transcripts were donated to the Aural History Program by Walter Young in the summer of 1975.
