This series consists of Aboriginal policy development files, 1995-2003. Files document the development of the provincial government's aboriginal socio-economic policy, as well as socio-economic issues of concern to the Metis, off-reserve, and non-status indigenous political organizations addressed at tripartite policy tables. Records include reports, cabinet submissions, correspondence, reference materials, records of decision, conference and committee records, work plans, agendas, briefing notes, agreements, and memorandums of understandings. Files are arranged by file number and generally grouped by subject.

Records regard the Vancouver urban development agreement focusing on the Downtown Eastside, the creation of a National Aboriginal Youth Forum, best practices in creating a National Aboriginal Youth Strategy, Federal Provincial Territorial Aboriginal Forum and steering committee, Provincial Aboriginal Social-Economic Strategy, Tripartite Self-Governance Negotiations with the Metis Provincial Council and United Native Nations, and Urban Aboriginal Strategy.

This series consists of records relating to developing tools to support communities in economic and social crisis in BC. This includes providing economic and social support to communities in need such as resource dependent communities in immediate economic crisis caused by events such as mill closures, and inner-city urban areas experiencing economic and social issues. Records include agreement development, socio-economic background information, meeting materials, and draft agreements in Prince George and Victoria. These records were created by the Ministry of Community Development and the Ministry of Community Services from 2005-2009.
The records are arranged alphabetically by community name. They consist of correspondence, agendas and minutes, reports, news articles, draft agreements, and presentations. These records are classified under the 2006 version of the Local Government Services ORCS as community transition support policy and procedures files (55400-00).

This series contains the records of the Old Age Pension Dept., est. Sept. 1, 1927 under the Workmen's Compensation Board, changed Apr. 1, 1943 to the Old Age Pension Board under the Provincial Secretary, which was transferred in 1946 to the Dept. of Health and Welfare. The records include legislation and regulations, correspondence, files relating to pensions for the blind, administration and general subject files as well as the Old Age Pensions fund register.
