Scope and content
Item is a ca. 1944 typescript copy of Nellie McClung's autobiographical work "The stream runs fast." The book was published by Thomas Allen Ltd. of Toronto in 1945 as "The stream runs fast: my own story." The typescript is approximately 300 pages of single sided pages, bound with cardboard, string and wrapping paper. There are handwritten corrections and additions presumably added by Nellie McClung. The title page is handwritten. An alternate copy of the conclusion with updated corrections.
