The sub-series consists of reference maps created between 1909 and ca. 1968 by the Fish and Wildlife Branch. The scale of the maps is 1:63 360 except as noted in the item level records. The maps document trapline locations in Central and Northern British Columbia.

Maps removed from GR-1085 in 1982 and catalogued separately. The hard copy finding aid lists the original box numbers from which the maps were removed.
