Public affairs. Jack Webster's popular weekday morning talk show. Guests and topics for this episode are: Steve Wyatt reports on a pajama party at Vancouver City Hall protesting prostitution in Mount Pleasant, which includes appearances by Mount Pleasant residents Don Phenby and Phyllis Alfeld. Vancouver Mayor Mike Harcourt responds that prostitution is a matter for the Criminal Code of Canada. Stewart Goodings, Assistant Deputy Minister of Consumer Affairs, talks about failures in the travel industry and compensation for stranded travellers. Phyllis Alfeld of Mount Pleasant Action Group appears with Jack in the studio to discuss the issue of prostitution in Mount Pleasant. Dave Abbott, President of Canadian Travel Associations, urges consumers to be wary of tour operators offering travel deals that are too good to be true.
