This series contains reports presented to the Forestry Committee of the Legislative Assembly by the Chief Forester. The 1936 Report was further amplified by a presentation by the Forester in charge of the Forest Surveys Division, and the 1940 Report was presented by the Assistant Chief Forester due to the absence of the Chief Forester on war-related business.

The fonds consists of two volumes of poetry; a diary from when Diespecker was sent to England during World War Two whilst in the Canadian Army; a newspaper clipping about CJOR radio station (Vancouver); a signed copy of his novel, Elizabeth; a manuscript of a play called The March of Progress; and an audio recording of two radio programs created by Diespecker that were both broadcast on CBC radio during World War Two.

Forrest emigrated from England to the United States in 1919, was in the real estate business in North Vancouver, served in the Canadian army on the Queen Charlotte Islands, and in the air force at Smithers during World War II, then practiced law in North Vancouver.
